McANANY  (01 Jan 2008)

My ggg Grandparents reportedly lived in Knox County prior to 1868. Their last name would have been similar to McANANY. My gg grandfather came south to Texas and Louisiana after a family disagreement and refused to give information about his parents. All we know is that his name was Melvin Edward McANANY and he was born in Bloomfield on April 25, 1868. His father's name was Michael Edward McANANY and his mother's first name was Marguerite. The family was originally from Cork County, Ireland. There was a brother and sister named John and Nevia (or something similar).

Anyone who has any information about this, please contact me.
