JACOBS, WELLS, KIRK (21 May 2010)
I am looking for the burial site of Elizabeth Marie WELLS JACOBS,
who was married to Fowler Marvin JACOBS in Apr 1844. Elizabeth was
born in 1827 and died in 1894. They lived in Ohio, but mostly in
Iowa, but did come to Nebraska for seven years around the time of
her death. We have been told she died and was buried in Knox county,
Nebraska in 1894. I have not been able to find her in any of the
lists you have online. Her daughter Cornelia Jacobs KIRK
(husband-Simon O. KIRK) is buried with her husband in Winnetoon
Cemetery, but she (Elizabeth) isn't on that list. Fowler returned to
Iowa without her. If anyone can tell me where she is buried I would
appreciate it. Also if they have info on ancestors of hers that
would be terrific also.
