KESSEBAUM (Kassebaum), ANDERSON, CARLSON, GUSTAFSON, NELSON, PETERSON, THURSTENSON, (2 Feb 2012)

I am trying to learn who George KESSEBAUM is from Wausa. The attached photo shows him at my grandparents home (Peter and Ida (NELSON) THURSTENSON) in Anoka, Nebraska. The event was Peter’s funeral. The date is July 27, 1941.

It is my guess he traveled from Wausa with some kinfolk and other friends (Among the out of town relatives and friends who attended the last rites Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Swen ANDERSON of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Carl GUSTAFSON of Wausa, Mr. and Mrs. August CARLSON of Randolph, George KESSEBAUM of Wausa, and Rev. and Mrs. Robert PETERSON and son Gene, of Wausa.). This quote is from Peter’s newspaper notice of his death and funeral. Mrs. GUSTAFSON and Mrs. CARLSON were sisters to Ida.

I’m wondering if he may have been a student pastor working with Rev. PETERSON at the Mission Covenant Church in Wausa.
