Edna Larkin Obit:

Bloomfield Monitor May 1934
Dies From Injuries Received In Infancy
Edna, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.D. Larkin, Dies In Beatrice After Lingering Illness.

Three Sisters Reside Here

Edna Larkin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.D. Larkin of Hartington, was born at Fremont, Nebraska , on February 8, 1905 and died at Beatrice, Nebraska, on May 19, 1934, at the age of 29 years, 3 months and 11 days.

Edna had the sad misfortune of being injured when she was eight weeks old, and from this injury she never fully recovered. Her parents, brothers and sisters did all that loving hands could do for her. She remained at home with her parents until April 20th of this year, when she was taken to Omaha for treatment. About a week ago she was taken to Beatrice, believing that she could benefit there. But the frail heart could carry the load no longer, and the imprisoned spirit was released to go home to God.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Edward, who died May 31st 1918, and by a twin brother and sister George and Martha who died in infancy in 1920.

Edna leaves to mourn her passing her parents; 3 brothers and 5 sisters; John of Allaiance, Mrs. Naomi Root of Alliance; Mrs. Marie Halsey of Bloomfield; Rose of Bloomfield; Richard of Hartington; Helen of Bloomfield; Dorothy of Allaiance; and Harvey of Hartington; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the M.E. Church by Rev. J.W. Ekwall on Tuesday afternoon. Internment was made in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
