It was Oct. 29, 1902 on a farm by Bloomfield, NE, when Lester Harold Greeno was born to William and Amy (Gilford) Greeno. He was the oldest of four children. He lived here with his parents until 1910 when they moved to a farm 1 1/4 miles east of Magnet on the south side of  the road. Two years later his folks bought a farm located  1/2 mile east of Magnet on the south side of the road.

Gailen Marie Lindblad was the 8th of 10 children born to John and Ida (Anderson) Lindblad at Wausa, NE. She was a Wausa resident most of her young life. Upon her marriage to Lester Greeno Dec. 19, 1923 at Sioux City, IA, they lived on a farm 1/4 mile south of Magnet. In the spring of 1927 they moved to the William Greeno home place. It was on this place that their two sons were born. Delmer Wesley May 4th, 1927 and Arnold Eugene June 20, 1932. Delmer married Doris Faye Meyer of Randolph, NE, in 1948. Thye had three childen Linda, Warren, and Theresa. Arnold married Beverly Halleen of  Wausa June 17, 1951. They had two boys David and Douglas.

Lester and Gailen lived on the place till 1937 when they moved to a farm northeast of Magnet. They returned to the home place in 1938 and remained there until 1946 when they bought the place across the road. Their son Delmer now lives there. In 1957 Lester and Gailen moved to Los Angeles, CA. Because of Gailen's health they returned to Nebraska in Sept. of 1958 where Gailen passed away of cancer a few hours after returning. Lester returned to California and remained there until 1962 when he returned to NE. to live with his son Delmer and family until he passed away of a heart attack Nov. 29, 1965.
