These are the Ancestors of SWAN LINDBLAD:

LARS CHRISTIAN HULTBERG was born 1747 and served as a soldier for number 69 or 70, Nora Sunnerbo company in Vret, Hortjsberg parish.

His military name was "HULTBERG" which means "Clearing in the forest mountain" .

He married Ingrid Svensdotter on November 29,1778, she was born April 17, 1752 in Transjo, Svensgard, Hortjsberg parish, the daughter of Sven & Ingrid Persson. On july 30, 1779, a son Anders was born and died almost three weeks later on August 18, 1779.

On October 10, 1781 a daughter Ingrid was born, then on June 1, 1783, twin daughters were born, named Stina and Lena, however Lena was stillborn.

On January 17, 1788 a son Anders was born, then on June 4, 1792 a son Sven was born.

ANDERS SKOLD was born January 17, 1788, he took an army name Skold, sometimes spelt Skjold which means Shield, he was born in the parish of Hortjsberg and he married ELIN INGERMARDOTTER, she was born in 1784 in the parish of Vislanda, all these parishes are within a few miles of each other, only about 10 - 12 miles. 

Anders & Elin had five children, SVEN ANDERSON was born Nov 2, 1810, then they had triplets, Ingemar, Ingrid and Catherina born May 26, 1816, they all died, then they had a daughter Stina born1818.

SVEN ANDERSONborn Nov 2, 1810 married CASJA JONASDOTTER, she was born Oct 10, 1801, SVEN was 19 years old and his wife was 28 years old when they married, she had been married before but her husband had gone to war some years ago and was captured and died in captivity, from this prtevious marriage two daughters were born ,but both died.

SVEN ANDERSON took the army name FAHNA, which means FLAG,  SVEN & CASJA had five children:

JONAS FAHNA born April 8, 1833, he married INGRID CATHERINA JOHANNESDOTTER, who was born 1837, they had nine children, William, Andrew, Carl, Benjamin, Edwin, Fred, George, Amel and one daughter, Stina Casja Wilhelmina, but she always went by the name Minnie.seven of Janoas's sons had already emigrated to the Us earlier, then in 1893, Jonas and his wife Catherina and their three younger children, Stina, George and Amel, emmigrated to the US, sometime before they left Sweden, they changed their name to FAHNSTROM, which means FLAGSTREAM, they sailed on the ship, quot;America" from Fredrickshavn, Nordjylland, Denmark to Ellis Island, they arrived June 12, 1893, they first settled in Victoria, Illinios, then moved to Galva, Illinios and lived there the rest of their lives.

ANDERS SVENSON LINDBLAD was born April 29, 1836 in  Slatthog parish in Sweden, Anders married BRITA STINA ANUNDSDOTTER, they were married in 1859, he took the army name LINDBLAD while in the Swedish army in 1859, Anders and his wife decided to emigrate to the US, they got their emigration papers on April 10, 1869 from their pastor.

According to the passenger records in Sweden, they had bought tickets for Denver, they had four sons, Sven Johan born March 10, 1860, Anders Goran born April; 12, 1862, Carl Gustaf born Dec 2, 1864 and aaron William born Nov 23, 1867, they did however settle in Laporte, Indiana and joined the Bethany Lutheran church on 8/5/1870, on the church records it mentions the family all are listed except Aaron William, we do not know what happened to this son of Andrew and Brita,  he would have been over two years old at the time of their trip to the US, he may have died on the ship coming over or before they got to their destination.

INGRID FAHNA was born in 1840, she married Johan Johnson, but some years later Ingrid moved back to live with her parents, as her husband had been in prison for several things, she left Sweden and joined her two grown children there,m her twoi children were George Henrickson Johnson and Amanda Johnson, when George came to the Us he changed his name to George Henrickson, he was at the college near Galva and met his wife Malvina  Anderson, they married and moved to Michigan to live, INGRID FAHNA joined George and his wife and family there and died there. Her daughter Amanda went to stay with Uncles  and Aunts in Galva and met her cousin George Fahnstrom, son of JONAS FAHNSTROM, they were married, her brother George was against the marriage, they had several children and lived in Galva most of their lives.

ANNA FAHNA no dates for her, she never married, stayed near her parents, she got an illness and died in 1878 in Smaland, Sweden.

SARAH LENA FAHNA was a schoolteacher, she got ill and was confined to her bed for some years, she died in Sweden.

SVEN ANDERSON FAHNA died in 1881, his wigfe Casja died two years later in 1883.
