Wausa Students
This photo was sent by Mable Nelson to her married sister, Ida
(Nelson) Thurstenson. Her comment on the back “You see on this
picture that one of the girls names Hazel Bloomquist has got her bow
in my face.” I am quite sure my Mable Nelson is in the back row,
second from the left and the Hazel Bloomquist with the bow may be
the girl in the front row, third from the left. Ida married in 1908
so I’m guessing the photo had to be about that era. Mable would have
been 12 years old in mid 1908.
