NORTON, FINICAL (16 Jan 2000)
Searching for any information on Harvey Stillman NORTON and his
wife, Sallie Ann FINICAL of NIOBRARA Knox County, NE. They arrived
in NE about 1887 from MN. Two of their daughters, Bertha Norton
WILLIAMS and Laura Norton SMITH, lived with the mother in Niobrara
at the time of the 1900 census. Harvey is believed to have been at
the Soldier's Home in Hall County, NE by that time. He was a Civil
War vet, who served with both an IL and MN unit; he died at the
Leavenworth Soldiers Home in Kansas in 1903. Sallie also lived at
the Hall County, SD Soldiers Home for a time, between 1900 and 1903.
Sallie died in 1906, but I have been unable to confirm where. Any**
information would be greatly appreciated.
