Recent info:

Have info that Adeley (Della) (GREEN) JENKS was second daughter of Stephen Walter GREEN and Glendalia Armidina (BARRINGTON) Green. Same person tells me that #1 Della and Ed JENKS daughter, Alice, married a GILLETTE who was either owner or relative of owner of Gillette dairy in Norfolk, NE. Lived both in Madison and Knox counties. Can anyone in Knox Co. tell me anything about this marriage? #2 Daughter, Olive married Ramson PARKS. #3 on your cemetery page you have listed that Ed (died 1946) Della (died 1948) and son Alexander (died 1918-19 in WWI) are all buried in the Riverside cemetery. How were these names obtained--by tombstone--or other? This person states Della buried in L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery, but I do not see any listing there for any of them. That Ed is buried out of state. Would love to hear from anyone working on any of these family histories or knew any of these families. Am working mainly on the JENKS line. #4 Ed's health forced move to the "South" and Della stayed in Niobrara and opened a church out of an old pool hall --she lived in the back and also made ladies hats for a living. At elderly age she turned the church over to a non-denomination Christian church. Anyone know about this?? Please contact Sharon at the above address.
