LUDVICK AND CLARA [DUFEK] ELIS

Clara Dufek and Ludvick Elis were married October 20, 1937, in Neligh by County Judge Ingram.

Mrs. Elis was a daughter of Mr. and mrs. James Dufek of Verdigre and Ludvick was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Vince Eli of Knoxville.

The young couple started housekeeping on ludvick’s farm where they raised cattle and hogs until 1970 when they bought a home in Verdigre and retired. Their nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Kotrous, and family have taken over the farming.
