VINCENT AND FRANTISKA [POSPISIL] FRANK

Vincent Frank was the sixth child of Frantisek and Anna (Busek) Frank. Born July 17, 1878, he came to this country from Bohemia at the age of four.

He was married to Frantiska (Frances) Pospisil on October 16, 1900, at Madison, Nebraska. She was born March 9, 1878, in Bohemia to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pospisil. Frantiska also came to America at the age of four. She and Vincent were the parents of seven children.

Stazie married Anton Zila and they had three sons: Alvin, Leonard, and Vernon. Stazie died August 13, 1944, and Anton died June 10, 1985. They are buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton. Louis married Julia Novak and they had three children: Vivian (Meyer), Wilma (Richter), and Arnold. Louis died April 7, 1968, and Julia died November 28, 1974. They are buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery at Norfolk, Nebraska. Charles married Mary Kumm and they had one son, Dean L. Charles died April 19, 1974, and Mary died November 28,1981.

Both are buried at the Winnetoon Cemetery, Winnetoon, Nebraska. Adolph married Ida Kyriss and they had four daughters: Dorothy (Denker), Edna (Wichman), Irene (Gleason) and Betty(Dicky). Adolph died February 2, 1984, and was buried at Creighton. His wife is currently living in Norfolk. Emma married John Vihlydal and they were the parents of seven children: Alvin, Agnes, Hilda, Donald, Helen, Leonard, and Raymond. John and Emma are also deceased. Joseph M. married Stazie Vavak and they had three children: Melfred, Marceline (Witt), and Darlene (Matson). After Stazie’s death on May 13, 1966, Joe married Vivian Magstadt. Joe died January 12, 1979, and is buried beside his first wife. Vivian died June 11, 1986. Lillie married Adolph Novak and they had one son Ivan. Lillie died in 1962, Adolph in 1963, and Ivan in 1977. Adolph is buried at Jelen. Lillie and Ivan are buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Norfolk.

Vincent and Frantiska celebrated 57 years of marriage before he passed away in 1958 at the age of 79. Frantiska died in 1966 at the age of 89. Both are buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton, Nebraska.
