TELFORD L. AND MARLENE B. [MASTALIR] GRIM
Telford L. Grim, the son of Elmer E. and Helen (O’Malley) Grim, was
born living, at the family farm home near Venus, Nebraska, in
the community known as Grimton. He has one brother, Gerald, who was
born living. His great-great-grandparents, Henry and
Catherine Grim, were the first of the Grim generation to settle the
Grimton area in 1872. Great-grandparents, William David and Sarah
Grim, and grandparents, Charles E. and Lizzie Grim, carried on the
family name.
Marlene B. Mastalir, daugher of Joe A. and Evelyn B. (Pavlik)
Mastalir, was born living, at Verdigre, Nebraska. She has one
brother, James, who was born living. The Mastalir generation
began with great-grandparents, Joseph and Katerina Mastalir, who
settled here in 1872 and grandparents, Vaclav and Anastazie Mastalir.
On January 18, 1954, Telford Grim and Marlene Mastalir were married
at St. Ludger’s Church at Creighton, Nebraska.

They are the parents of three sons, Todd L., born living,
Scott A. born living, and Daral A., born living. Todd
married Virginia F. Walton on May 6, 1977, and they are parents of
one daughter, Tiffany L., born living. Daral married Virginia
M. Paesl on October 13, 1979, and they have two daughters, Cortney
R., born living, and Erin M., born living.
