JOHN AND ANNA [HRACKY] KOTROUS, SR.
John Kotrous, Sr., was born September 8, 1860, at Volenice, Bohemia,
and died at Verdigre, Nebraska, on May 2, 1935. His wife Anna Hracky
was born July 10, 1866, and died September 12, 1949. They were
married January 6, 1887.
Fifteen children were born to them.
Marie K. Kotrous Hornik was born November 11, 1887, and died
February 5, 1984. On November 28, 1905, she married Joseph J. Hornik,
who was born December 9, 1873, and died December 22, 1942. Three
children were born.
Frank V. Kotrous was born April 13, 1889, and died January 8, 1975.
He married Barbara Maly on August 31, 1909. She was born May 30,
1886, and died March 1, 1976. They had nine children.
Anna Kotrous Maly was born July 12, 1890, and died May 9, 1966. Her
husband was Vac J. Maly, who was born January 6, 1893, and died
April 30, 1967. Two children were born.
Emon Kotrous was born January 14, 1892, and died November 4, 1918.
He married Albina Divis on May 1, 1917. She was born October 16,
1896, and died August 26, 1977. One son was stillborn. Vaclav E.
Kotrous was born October 9, 1893, and married Agnes Pavelka on
February 20, 1917. She was born January 8, 1889, and died February
28, 1985. They had three children.

August V. Kotrous was born August 1, 1895, and died April 19, 1984.
He married Anna E. Micek on January 23, 1917. She was born October
20, 1893, and died May 10, 1973. They had three children.
John C. Kotrous was born January 28, 1899. He married Mary Konopasek
on December 22, 1919. She was born January 15, 1896, and they were
the parents of five children. John C. Kotrous married Eva Cederberg
on October 11, 1955. Eva Kotrous was born March 2, 1909.
Charles Vac Kotrous was born February 5, 1901, and died March, 1986.
He married Gladys Irene Fiscus on December 18, 1935, and three
children were born.
Edward V. Kotrous was born December 4, 1902. He married Aletha
Christensen and they had five children.
Christine A. Kotrous was born November 28, 1904. She married August
Sedivy who was born October 24, 1900. He died February 1, 1984. Four
children were born to them.
Henry A. Kotrous was born September 9, 1906, and died September 18,
1975. Jennie Degaillez became his wife on September 17, 1930. They
had two children.
Lydia E. Kotrous was born July 6, 1908. She married Anton Pilar
April 6, 1931. Anton was born October 25, 1900, and died September
6, 1981. Two children were born to them.
Ben C. Kotrous was born August 5, 1910, and died March 1, 1984.
Irene Elaine Dufek was born March 17, 1917, and married Ben Kotrous
on October 1, 1940. They had three sons.
Irene R. Kotrous was born February 7, 1912, and married Harold Ben
Effle November 19, 1940. He was born June 28, 1914, and died July
16, 1980. Three children were born to them.
