PETER AND ANNA [GRUENBERG] MEYER

Peter Meyer was born in 1867 and died July 3, 1922, according to his wife’s obituary.

Anna Gruenberg, daughter of Alexander Gruenberg and Marie Moravec, was born at Niobrara March 28, 1872, and died November 30, 1950. They were married November 28, 1892.

Peter and Anna Meyer lived 6 miles south and 2 ˝ west of Verdigre. They were members of St. Wenceslaus Church in Verdigre. Peter helped build the present church.

They were blessed with eight children: Mary, Nicholas, Henry, Peter, Margaret, Emma, Andrew and Eggert.

Mary and Nicholas passed away in infancy. Still living is Peter Meyer of Neligh.
