Pischel, Rose died April 13, 1882, aged 9 years
Note: Five of the Pischel children died within weeks of each other in
1882 from the diphtheria epidemic. The name “Besena” was on the same
side of the stone as Mary Mislivecek, so it is uncertain that Besena was a
Pischel, but all assumptions indicate that she probably was. It is also
assumed that Mary is a relative of the Pischel family. One stone bears the
names of all seven burials.
