In 1902 three children of Camille and Rosalie Sandoz died from the
diphtheria epidemic: Henry, 16, Lucie, 13, and Felix 5. Rosalie died in
1912, age 59. Camille died in 1936, age 88. They were all buried on the
family farm located southeast of Verdigre. In the 1950's the Sandoz Family
Cemetery was moved to the Verdigre Riverside Cemetery and no burials remain
on the Sandoz land.
