CLINCH (23 Feb 2000)
My father James Henry CLINCH was born in Knox County in 1928, his
brother Ovin CLINCH in Knox in 1933. Their father James C. CLINCH
was born also in Knox County just before the turn of the century.
James C. CLINCH's parents were John and Elisabeth (PURCELL) CLINCH.
John and Elisabeth (PURCELL) CLINCH lived in Lynch, they died when
the Ponca Creek flooded in 1932. My father and his brother graduated
from Lynch High School. James C. CLINCH married Ona Waowna Burger
daughter of William and Nancy (HOLCROFT) Burger.
