FILTER, PRUETER

Seeking info re Sophia (PRUETER) FILTER and her husband August. Lived at Bloomfield later 1800's and early 1900's. August FILTER worked at or owned a retail store there. Couple later went to California. They did not have children. May be buried at Bloomfield. Would like to know birth and death dates as well as when they lived in Knox County. Sophie was my Grandmother's sister. The PRUETER family came from Mecklenburg to Wisconsin where Sophie was born about 1860. Believed she married August FILTER about 1880 and went to Nebraska. August may have had a brother in Bloomfield also associated with the store. My cousin still has a plate bearing the picture of the store and it appears it was a brick structure - wonder if it is still stands? All help is appreciated.

Thank you,
