CHASE, JAMES (14 Sep 2006)

I am looking for anyone that can tell me the story that Joe Jesse told to the newspaper back in 1938. That he is the son of the Outlaw Jesse JAMES. Most of all I would like to know about Joe Jesse's mother raising both him {Joe Jesse CHASE} and Frank JAMES daughter {Emma CHASE}. Where is she buried and who is her mother? Where did she live and who did she marry?

Emma has been a great mystery to me as I have found most of the stuff that Joe Jesse CHASE has said to be the truth. Now I want to find Emma CHASE that was born in 1870 around Aug.

I know that Joe Jesse CHASE's mother is Maggie WAPASHA or WABASHAW, and that she married a William GOODTEACHERr. If anyone has old letters that are from Maggie GOODTEACHER to Jesse or from Him PLEASE get a hold of me. I know that my Grandma that married Joe JESSE her mother is Nancy WAPAHA. Also know as Nancy STONE and is buried at Holy Faith Cemetery. She was the wife of Andrew MYRICK at the time of the 1862 uprising.

How did Joe Jesse CHASE get the last name of CHASE instead of JAMES.. Well the story goes that is what was happening when the JAMES boys rode in to the village, They were being chased. Well I also know that the last name CHASE is a surname of the JAMES. Can anyone tell me the color of Joe Jesse's eyes and hair? I've been told blue but need to know for sure.

Thanks for all of your wonderful help
