KODET, CHOCHOLOUSEK, SUPIK, HAGGE (18 Jun 2010)
I am looking for information on the family of Anton and Katarina
KODET.
They are Bohemian immigrants who settled on a farm in Jefferson
Township. They are found in the 1910 census of Jefferson, Knox
County, but I believe they settled there in the 1890s. Eventually
they retired in Verdigre.
Their children are Frank (b. 1874), Maria Theresa (1876-1942), Anton
Albert (b. 1878), Antonia (1882-1972), Joseph (1882-1967), Karel
"Charles" Ben (1885-1956), Anna (b. 1887), Emelie (1890-1969),
Barbara (1892-1994).
I believe my Frank KODET is found in the 1900 Census of Denver,
Adams County in the Asylum for the Chronic Insane, and again in the
asylum in his WWI Draft Registration form. I would like more
information on Frank if it is available (guardianship or probate
records?).
Emelie first married Bosh CHOCHOLOUSEK, divorced before 1930, then
married Mike SUPIK (1893-1963). I would like to know if this is the
same Mike SUPIK who was tried and convicted in Knox County of
shooting to kill a man of the last name HAGGE (Father Claus HAGGE).
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
