Joseph married Marie Mach. Marie (Mary) was the daughter of John and

They were the parents of eight children: Edward, Joe, Kristina,
Antoine (Mrs. Alois Langer), Agnes (Mrs. Alfred R. Vorce), Marie
(Mrs. Anton Welcek), Emilie (Mrs. Charles Zerbe), and Anton. Anton
died when he was six months old and is buried at Osmond, Nebraska.
The family moved to Verdigre in 1905 and lived on the farm where
Vincent and Millie Frank currently live with their family. Daughter

had six children: Mrs. A. L. (Bertha) Poeling (deceased), Mrs. Otto
(Rose) Sokol, Mrs. Harold (Marcella) Alder, Emil and Edwin, both

there until their deaths, he in 1935, she in 1936. They are buried
