EMIL A. AND IRENE [PAVLIK] JERMAN
Emil A. Jerman was born September 1, 1912, at Beemer, Nebraska, to
John and Mary Zidko Jerman.
In March of 1919 he moved with his parents to a farm northwest of
Verdigre.

He received his grade school education in District No. 40 and
graduated from Verdigre High School in 1931.
He farmed with his parents until March 2, 1937, when he married
Irene Pavlik. He continued farming until 1939 when he bought the
International Harvester dealership from Frank Chvala. Emil was in
the implement business until his death on May 21, 1985.
He served in World War II, was on the Verdigre Board of Education,
Verdigre Board of Trustees, member of the Improvement Club, and was
on the Board of Directors of the Czech Alps Terrace for many years.
Emil was a lover of music and played with several orchestras. In his
youth he played a violin and in later years, the drums, until his
health failed in 1985.
Emil had one son, John, who is married to Margaret Belik Jerman.
They live in O'Neill, Nebraska, and have three children: Bradley,
Michelle, and Lori.
Emil enjoyed his family and grandchildren to the very last.
