Helen (Kral) Paesl was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on living, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Kves) Kral.

She came to Verdigre in October, 1949, to visit her aunt and uncle, Frank and Emma Kves. She met Marvin here and they were united in marriage on May 29, 1951.

They have five children: Mrs. Dale (Marilyn) Sukup, Joseph, Raymond, Mrs. Neil (Patricia) Liska, and Mrs. Daral (Virginia) Grim. Marvin and Helen are blessed with nine grandchildren.

After their marriage they moved to a farm seven miles west of Verdigre where they currently reside.
