RAYMOND AND REGINA [MLINAR] PAESL

Raymond Alan Paesl, the son of Marvin and Helen (Kral) Paesl, was born on living, in Creighton, Nebraska. Ray has an older sister, Marilyn, and brother Joseph. Younger than Ray are two sister, Pat and Virginia.

Ray attended Jelen School from kindergarten through grade six. Grades seven through twelve were attended at Verdigre Public School. After graduation Ray enlisted in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged in September of 1976. He returned to Verdigre and began his current occupation of farming.

Regina Rae (Mlinar) Paesl is the daughter of Ray and EmRose (Cook) Mlinar who was born  living, in Spalding, Greeley County, Nebraska. Regina’s family includes seven older sisters: Pat, Peg, Marilyn, Rita, Rosemary, Mary, and Jean, and six younger brothers: John, Joe, Jim, Jerry, Richard, and Robert.

Regina attended grades kindergarten through fourth at Sacred Heart School in Greeley, Nebraska, and grades five through eleven at Verdigre Public School where her father was superintendent of schools. At that time her family returned to Greeley where she graduated from Greeley high School in 1974.

After high school Regina chose to attend Platte Junior College in Columbus (now Central Community College - Platte Campus) where she received her Associates Degree. After Platte Junior, Regina attended Kearney State College receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Sociology and Recreation. Upon graduation from Kearney, Regina began working for the Easter Seal Society in Omaha.

Ray and Regina, who had been high school sweethearts, renewed their courtship the same year. Regina moved to Omaha in 1980. That courtship ended in marriage on January 16, 1982.

Regina attended Wayne State College to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree. She now teaches Social Sciences at Verdigre High School

On living, Seth Logan, their first son, was born. Completing the family is son number two born living, and named Brock Andrew. The family resides in Verdigre.
