JOSEPH T. AND ALBINA [CHALUPNIK] PAVELKA

Joseph T., a son of V. A. and Francisca Pavelka, was born March 11, 1899. He served in the army and was stationed at Camp Gordon, Georgia, for most of his stint. He played the cornet and later the French horn in the 45th Infantry Band.

On living, he married Albina Chalupnik and they had seven children: James, Dorothy, Henry and Harry (twins), Delbert, Eugene, and Ann Marie.

James E., born living, married Kathleen Shultz. He served in the army in World War II.

Dorothy was born living, and married Alfred Hilger.

Henry and Harry, the twins, were born January 16, 1924. Harry died May 8, 1937, and is buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk, Nebraska. Henry died April 13, 1938, and is buried at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Beroun, Minnesota.

Delbert was born April 3, 1926, and died in France during World War II in 1945. He is buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Beroun, Minnesota.

Eugene was born living.

Ann Marie was born living, and married James Daley. She died at Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and is buried at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Beroun, Minnesota.
