EDWARD V. RUZICKA

Edward V. Ruzicka was the first-born son of Frank and Jane (Minarik) Ruzicka. He grew to manhood on the family farm and attended school through the eighth grade.

Edward died on November 11, 1918, while serving in the army as a private in Company D, 101st Infantry during World War I. Although Edward was killed in 1918, his body did not return to the states until 1921 to be buried in the Pischelville Cemetery.
