GUSTAV B. RUZICKA

Gustav B. Ruzicka was born August 20, 1901, to Frank and Jane (Minarik) Ruzicka. He grew up on the family farm and attended School District 46 through the eighth grade.

He lived his life alone on his farm located beside the Niobrara River across from Pischelville. In 1978, he sold his farm and purchased a home in Verdel. He continued to have a garden and take care of his lawn, and he thoroughly enjoyed his dog.

In July 1984, he entered the Creighton Care Center due to ill health. He passed away September 11, 1984, and is buried at the Pischelville Cemetery.
