VICTORIA RAE [DVORAK] SEHI

Victoria Rae (Dvorak) Sehi was born living, at Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton, Nebraska, to Otto A. and Florence M. (Sonder) Dvorak. Her childhood was spent on a farm three miles west of Verdigre and she attended Verdigre Public Schools. She graduated from high school in Verdigre in 1973, and then attended Northeast Nebraska Technical Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska, where she received a one-year Executive Secretary diploma in 1974. Vickie was active in band and chorus while in grade school and high school and also sang with her twin sister Debbie (Kucera) in their father’s band for three years. Starting in 1974, she worked as a secretary at Fisher Realty in Norfolk for three years, and then at R & S Realty for 2 ½ years. Since 1978 she has been active in Beta Sigma Phi, an international Culture-Social sorority.

On November 26, 1977, Vickie was united in marriage to John William Sehi, formerly of Neligh, Nebraska, and son of the late Vertis and Joan (Beckman) Sehi.

John graduated from Neligh Public School and then went to college in Norfolk where he received his Associate of Arts Degree. At the University of Nebraska in Lincoln he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with High Distinction. In 1983 John was inducted into the Hall of Success at Northeast Technical Community College in Norfolk. Since 1978 he has been a Certified Public Accountant in Norfolk where he currently is a partner in the firm, Auten, Gaines and Sehi, CPAs. John has also been a very active member in the Norfolk Optimist Club for several years.

On living, a son, John Ryan, was born to Vickie and John.

Vickie is currently a closing officer at Ringer Partners. They are members of the Sacred Heart-St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norfolk.
