DALLAS AND ROSEMERIE [ZOUBEK] TUCH FAMILY

Dallas Tuch, son of Walter and Evelyn (Viterna) Tuch, was born living. On May 24, 1968, he married Rosemerie Zoubek, daughter of Eddie and Mary (Dusek) Zoubek of Verdel. Rosemerie, born living, graduated from Niobrara High School in 1961 and C. E. School of Commerce in Omaha in 1962. Dallas graduated from Verdigre High School in 1961. They are the parents of a son, Darren Clark, born living, and a daughter, Dayna Rose, born living.

Dallas is engaged in farming with his parents on the same farm that was the Tuch homestead. He and his family live on another farm about a mile south. Rosemerie is employed as a CSM (Care Staff Member) at Alpine Village Nursing Home in Verdigre.

Darren and Dayna have been members of the Raymond Rippers 4-H Club for the past eight years. Darren has served as the club president for three years. Dayna has served as historian and treasurer. Darren was the 1985-86 Knox County 4-H King and the 1986-87 president of the Verdigre FFA Chapter. He attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City and on behalf of the Verdigre Chapter, received the BOAC Award (Building Our American Communities). Dayna was a participant in a Nebraska Miss Teen Pageant in 1986. Both Darren and Dayna were nominated by their teachers and accepted for the National Award of Academic All-American Students.

Darren is a 1987 Verdigre High school graduate and plans to enter the army. Dayna is a sophomore and her future plans include the field of science.
